The MAND Fall Breakfast/ Event will be done both virtually (Zoom) and in-person (Crosstown Concourse) this year with special guest speaker, 2-time Olympic Track and Field star, Dr. Rochelle Stevens, OLY. Dr. Stevens is a local Memphian who competed in both the ’92 and ’96 Olympic games. She was a member of the 4×400 m relay at both games that captured Silver in the ’92 Olympics and Gold in the ’96 Olympics. She currently still resides in Memphis, TN, and hosts an annual track meet at a local high school, St. George’s, through her foundation, Rochelle Stevens Foundation. During this event, you will hear Dr. Stevens talk about what it takes to become an Olympic champion and you will also hear her talk about her role in the local community with her foundation. A Q&A will follow her presentation.
For in-person, MAND will strictly adhere to all of Crosstown Concourse’s COVID-19 measures. Breakfast will be provided by Lucy J’s and after 50 in-person tickets are sold, the option will no longer be available. 1.0 CEU will be available at the conclusion of the event.
